From 2009 to the present, 20% of LCM moms have had water births.The rest, birthed on land.
Birth is good,whether initially into water or air. Thanks to all of you for choosing such loving starts for your babies.
MANA Stats does not track use of water in labor, they just track the births that actually occur in water. From observation, I can tell you that the majority of LCM moms spend some amount of time in water during their labors. That might be a quick and refreshing shower, a long tub soak, or, hours and hours in a dedicated labor/birth tub.
