Local Care Midwifery, PLLC

For you astute readers that are wondering, "What is with the PLLC?" I have an answer. Local Care Midwifery was started on a shoe-string budget as a DBA (doing business as) with the intention of incorporating as soon as possible. The budget is still on a shoe string, (but a sturdy one, maybe a work-boot string) and the initials PLLC have been added to the name. PLLC stands for Professional Limited Liability Corporation. (See why I'm going with the initials?) So while the name and legal structure of the business have changed, the wonderful work and high quality care remain the same.

May all babies be born into loving hands...
